?FAQ

Which side should I sit on?
Seat E in ordinary cars, seat D in Green Cars. The line runs along the south side of Mt. Fuji, so it’s on the same side whether you’re heading up or down.
How long is it visible?
The view opens up for roughly 3–4 minutes around Shin-Fuji Station.
Will I definitely see it on a clear day?
No. Long-term records in Fuji City show it’s completely hidden on about 30% of days, and clearly visible on about 14%.
Shin-Fuji is a station the Nozomi passes through without an official timetable, so the times shown are estimates based on standard running times. They vary by a few minutes with the train and any delays. Covers some direct Nozomi between Hakata/Hiroshima and Tokyo under the 14 March 2026 timetable. Times change with each timetable revision.
